As a university research unit we fund our work through donations, sponsorships and corporate membership. The membership is simple, by paying for the research library in a given year, your company is entitled to all of our reports for that year as well as the archive. For anyone in the marketing and consumer insights industry these reports are helpful for everything from segmentation, market sizing and positioning to strategy formulation and executive reports. We usually launch an overview of the consumer landscape at the end of Q1 and a new research project in Q3 or Q4.
Every year the Institute presents and workshops its work to dozens of corporates. This ranges to presentations at boardroom level right, to Excos, strategy sessions and marketing teams. Companies to whom the Institute has presented work over the last two years include: Tiger Brands, PepsiCo, Unilever, Yum, Absa, Capitec, TFG, Multichoice, SABC, Media 24, Massmart, Pick n Pay, AVI, Investec, SABC, Old Mutual, Woolworths, ABSA, FNB, Capitec, South African Council of Shopping Centres, to name but a few. Besides insights, data and conceptual models, our world class video footage helps bring our work to life in an engaging way.
