Addressing Inequality: Haroon Bhorat at #FWDKF20

The FW de Klerk Foundation Annual Conference on “Addressing Inequality”, hosted in conjunction with the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung South Africa #FWDKF20; and featuring DPRU Director, Prof. Haroon Bhorat, was held on 1 February 2019 in Cape Town.

Former President FW de Klerk gave the keynote address followed by Prof Haroon Bhorat (University of Cape Town), and Dr Roelof Botha (GIBS): two well-known economists giving their views on what could be done in addressing economic inequality.Their inputs were then followed by an interactive panel discussion, where the audience had the opportunity to pose questions. The event was attended by members of civil society, academia, learners, university students, local government representatives, members of the media and more.
