During a walkabout at the Financial Innovation Hub (FinHub) in the School of Economics, Minister of Small Business Development Stella Ndabeni encouraged students to participate in legislative drafting when opportunities arise.

Commerce student Moeletsi Tladi – a Vice-Chancellor’s Blue Carpet Scholarship recipient in 2023 – is looking forward to his graduation on 28 March. A top matric achiever in 2022, he is sharing lessons from his time at the institution.

Congratulations to Emeritus Professor Murray Leibbrandt from the School of Economics for being selected as an International Economic Association Fellow in recognition of his outstanding scholarly contributions.

The annual event is for learners in Grades 10 to 12, their families and teachers. This year, it takes place on campus from 10:00 to 15:00 on Saturday, 25 April 2026.
