Announcement: 6th IZA/World Bank/NJD/UNU-WIDER Jobs and Development Conference

On behalf of Germany’s Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) has committed funding in support of African scholars* who are eligable and have papers accepted:  the travel grants cover airfare and accommodation costs.

Please submit full papers or extended abstracts by Friday July 1, 2022 using the online application form.

Notifications on contributed papers will be sent by September 5, 2022. Any queries can be emailed to conference managers at j4d@jobsanddevelopmentconference.org
 
We strongly encourage submission of full papers. For accepted extended abstracts, full paper submission will be due September 30, 2022.

* Note that restricted funding can be made available for accepted applicants who are citizens of (and are residing in) LICs outside Africa, should assistance be required to cover travel costs. NB: Decisions will be made at the discretion of the organising committee and will be undertaken in all fairness and due consideration for the number of motivations received and for the candidates who are in the most need.
