EDU Student Development Programmes
- Life Skills Workshops (presentation skills, money matters: managing your finances, exam tips, time management, turning failure into success)
- Mentoring Programmes (first-year and senior mentoring programmes)
- Leadership Development Programmes (Induction and Orientation Leaders, Open Day Leaders, EDU Student Aids)
Skills for Commerce
Skills for Commerce is offered to all students in the Faculty of Commerce under the course code DOC1103H.
DOC1103H supports the transition into university life and the Faculty of Commerce. The course is available to any first-year student registered in the Faculty of Commerce and is compulsory for all EDU students.
DOC1103H for EDU students is presented in two parts as follows:
- Semester 1: Self-development: Personal Management in the Higher Education Context
- Semester 2: Career Discovery
