Dr Tsotang Tsietsi
Dr Tsotang Tsietsi is a well-established academic with teaching experience in undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes across the African continent and the globe, covering a broad spectrum of international economic law topics. Dr Tsietsi is a member of several professional associations, including, the Society of International Economic Law (SIEL), the African International Economic Law Network (AfIELN) (Vice President), and TradeExperettes (an international network of women trade experts). She serves as the Editor of African Journal of International Economic Law (AJIEL) and Contributing Editor of Afronomicslaw.org.
As a Senior Research Associate at the Nelson Mandela School of Public Governance at the University of Cape Town (UCT), she contributes to programme development in the AfCFTA Academy as well as providing research support to the AfCFTA Research stream, in particular on Phase II issues (investment, competition policy, intellectual property, e-commerce, and trade and gender).
Research Interests: African Regional Integration; Trade Facilitation; Trade in Services; Trade and Gender.
