The CALP Seminar & Workshop Series brings together academics, policymakers, and practitioners to exchange rigorous research and translate it into actionable insight. Sessions range from technical seminars on causal inference and adaptive learning methods to policy dialogues that connect emerging findings to real program and investment decisions. Drawing on CALP's networks—including EfD, J-PAL, and the World Bank—the series offers researchers a platform to test and refine ideas, gives policymakers early, direct access to evidence relevant to their decisions, and demonstrates to funders how sustained engagement between research and practice translates into more effective, better-targeted development spending.
