Prof Lindiwe Msengana-Ndlela

Adjunct Professor

Prof Lindiwe Msengana-Ndlela is the Ambassador of the Republic of South Africa to the Hellenic Republic. Prof Msengana-Ndlela is also an Adjunct Professor at the Nelson Mandela School of Public Governance, University of Cape Town. She has a long professional association with the Nelson Mandela School as a facilitator on several high-level leadership training courses.

In October 2023, Prof Msengana-Ndlela presented credentials to the President of the Hellenic Republic, H.E. Ms Katerina Sakellaropoulou. Prof Msengana-Ndlela and her team of officials in the South African Mission in Athens aim to reinforce political and socio-economic relations between South Africa and Greece. The focus is on deepening partnerships with the Diaspora and facilitating cooperation in various areas, such as trade, energy, education, health, science, technology, the environment, disaster management, humanitarian aid, culture, tourism, and people-to-people exchanges. These are priority areas in the broader context of the African Continental Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations.

Prof Msengana-Ndlela holds a PhD from Warwick University, England, a Master in Business Leadership (MBL) and Bachelor of Education (BEd) from the University of South Africa, a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) and a University Education Diploma (UED) from Rhodes University.
