The Department of Finance and Tax is responsible for all undergraduate courses in finance‚ including service courses.
The department is research-led and has master’s programmes in Applied Finance, Finance (in three fields; Corporate Finance and Valuations, Financial Management and Financial Management), Taxation (in two fields; South African Taxation and International Taxation), Financial Engineering, and Risk Management of Financial Markets. We also supervise PhD students in finance, taxation and quantitative finance.
