Dr Stephen Karingi

Dr Stephen Karingi is currently the Director of the Regional Integration and Trade Division of the UN Economic Commission for Africa. He joined the UN in April 2004.  Dr Karingi was previously a Senior Analyst and the Head of Macroeconomics Division in the Kenya Institute for Public Policy Research and Analysis (KIPPRA), a Public Think-Tank. Prior to joining KIPPRA he served as a lecturer of Economics at Egerton University in Kenya.
