Mapoulo Ntoane

Research Officer

Mapoulo Ntoane is a Research Officer at the Nelson Mandela School of Public Governance, focusing on regional integration and industrialisation efforts under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA). Prior to joining the Nelson Mandela School, she worked at the Institute for Economic Research on Innovation (IERI) at Tshwane University of Technology. 

She holds a Master’s Degree in Economics, specialising in Comparative Local Development, from Tshwane University of Technology; a Postgraduate Diploma in Health Economics from the University of Cape Town; and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics with a minor in Statistics from the National University of Lesotho. Her research interests include industrialisation and regional integration, extractive industries, and sustainable development.
