Reflections: Mandela Month 2019
The month of July, marked a year since the School took on the Mandela name and it has been a journey, full of inspiring stories; such as hosting the Africa month public symposium which was done in partnership with the African Union’s African Peer Review Mechanism, announcing a new director, Professor Faizel Ismail and hosting a successful Leading in Public Life: Women, Influence, Power Programme, to name a few.
In celebrating Madiba’s life this year; the Mandela School partnered with Innovation Norway and Scatec Solar on 18 July 2019; and hosted a Breakfast and Panel Discussion. The purpose of the Mandela Day Breakfast and Panel Discussion was to share experiences about Corporate Social Responsibility and start a discussion about how this should be addressed to have a sustainable impact.
