May the new year propel our efforts towards regional integration and structural transformation in Africa.

To this end, the Nelson Mandela School and its strategic partners have put together a carefully curated AfCFTA and Transformative Industrialisation Roundtable series.

The School invites you to attend the first roundtable focusing on "The Opportunity for Vaccine Production in Africa: Creating Regional Value Chains through Localisation".

Thought leaders and technical experts from around the African continent and beyond are ready to discuss critical questions related to the practical implementation aspects of formulation manufacturing of vaccines or what is commonly known as ‘fill & finish’, with a particular focus on opportunities for localisation.

Bring along all your questions and ideas on value chain optimisation through the creation of regional value chains, now possible under the AfCFTA and creating opportunities for participation for non-manufacturing countries.

Meet the Speakers:
Dr Simon Agwale, Dr Paul Lartey, Mr Rajinder Suri, and Dr Chidi Nweneka.

Date: Tuesday, 1 February 2022
Time: 13:00 - 15:00 (SAST)
