What is Adaptive Leadership and Public Governance
The School's next Guest Lecture will be delivered by Dr Jafar Javan, Director of the United Nations System Staff College (UNSSC).
The Nelson Mandela School recognises that its network of policy experts, thought leaders, and practitioners in government, civil society, the private sector, and multilateral institutions hold nuggets of wisdom that can help to shape the narratives and approaches to realise the aspirations of Agenda 2063, the Sustainable Development Goals and in short, Africa We Want.
It is against this backdrop that the Nelson Mandela School Guest Lecture Series brings some of the leading public policy scholars and practitioners from around the world to share their insights with our students, researchers, policymakers, and community of practitioners on how to navigate these crises while maintaining a vision for the future.
The upcoming Guest Lecture will be delivered by Dr Jafar Javan and the theme will explore Adaptive Leadership and Public Governance.
