About the programme

The BCom Honours in Actuarial Science [CH001BUS01] is an intensive programme aimed at graduates who have completed either the BCom (Actuarial Science) or the Advanced Diploma in Actuarial Science (Actuarial Conversion Course) at UCT, or an equivalent degree from another recognised university.

An important note about exemptions: Successful completion of this programme could lead to exemptions for subjects A214, A311 and N211 from the syllabus of the Actuarial Society of South Africa.

One year of full-time study or two years of part-time study.
