Report from the African Union Regional Youth Consultation in Tanzania

Building Bridges officer Mabel Sithole flew to Arusha, Tanzania at the end of August to attend the African Union Regional Youth Consultation on harnessing young people's meaningful participation in electoral processes in Africa. 

Ms Sithole met with Emerging African Leaders Programme Alumni in Arusha, Tanzania. These include Ms Carolyn Kandusi, Ms Nuralisa Karamagi, Adv Jebra Kambole, Ms Makda Tessema, Ms Nancy Muigei and EALP 2017 applicant, Mr Mbayani Tandai (Tanzania). EALP alumni briefed Ms Sithole on the impact of the programme on their personal development, their careers and how they would like to continue interacting with their peers in future.
