Pathways to green African industrialisation

The Green Industrial Development Expert Panel (GIDEP) was convened by Ellen Davies of the African Climate Foundation (ACF) and Nimrod Zalk of the Nelson Mandela School of Public Governance, University of Cape Town.  The inaugural meeting of the GIDEP took place on 17 March 2025. The outcome of this meeting is the newly released GIDEP Position Paper: Pathways to Green African Industrialisation, authored by Chema Triki with contributions from expert panel members.

The paper was launched on Monday, 8 September 2025 in Addis Ababa on the sidelines of the Africa Climate Summit 2.
