Coetzee joined AIFMRM as a Senior Lecturer in 2025. He holds a PhD in Risk Management and Insurance from the University of Georgia, USA and is a Fellow of the Actuarial Society of South Africa. His research interests include insurer operations, climate finance, and asset pricing.
