Applications are open for this year’s intake for the University of Cape Town’s (UCT) Financial Innovation Hub’s (FinHub) nine-month pre-incubator programme, the GenesisBloc Launchpad.

In recognition of his academic excellence, Nelson Mandela School of Public Governance alumnus Mbulelo Ncube received the McCall MacBain Regional Award, Canada’s largest research-based scholarship for master’s and professional studies.

Charline Chikomo – a master’s student at the Nelson Mandela School of Public Governance – recently wrote a searing opinion titled, “Unmasking the commodification and corporatisation of higher education in Africa”.

Inequalities in Sub-Saharan Africa: Multidimensional Perspectives and Future Challenges examines issues of income inequality, unequal access to education and health care, climate vulnerability and inclusive growth.
