The Faculty Examinations Committee (FEC) is a committee of Senate that approves examination results in each course, determines qualifiers for degrees offered in the faculty and decides on the progression status of all students.
At the end of the examination cycle, the FEC will assess your academic performance against the progression rules for the programme in which you are registered. After your department has captured examination marks, the FEC meets and assesses the performance of every student registered for that academic year. Your results and progression status will only be communicated after the relevant FEC meeting.
Please use the tables below to guide you on the status of your academic standing as well as to determine when you can expect communication from the Faculty about your progression status.
If you need further guidance on your academic standing, please contact your department's Student Advisors/convenors.
