Mongezi is a senior lecturer at Walter Sisulu University. He convenes Taxation I and lectures on both Taxation I and II. He obtained his B.Com Accounting and Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting (PGDA) at UCT, and completed his articles at Ernst & Young. He is currently studying towards a Master's in Taxation at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University.
