Michael is a lecturer in Auditing and Corporate Governance at the College of Accounting (UCT), and lectures at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. He obtained his BBusSc (Finance) at UCT and completed articles at KPMG Inc. He worked for a JSE listed asset management company for a few years before making the move into academia at UCT. Michael also lectures at the UCT Graduate School of Business, on executive short courses.
