Carla has been teaching accounting for 15 years to first year students in UCT's Education Development Unit: Commerce. She has a keen interest in how students learn and how teaching can be improved and better supported to meet the needs of students and improve throughput rates. In 2009, Carla received UCT's prestigious Distinguished Teacher Award for excellence in, and commitment to, teaching.
