Institute for Monitoring and Evaluation (IME)
The Institute of Monitoring and Evaluation (IME) aims to improve the theory and practice of programme monitoring and evaluation in Africa. The Institute engages in academic research, consults in the private and public sectors, and conducts contract research and evaluations. The IME’s educational offerings include a Doctorate and Master’s in Programme Evaluation and an 8-week online short course.
DST-NRF SARChI Chair in Creation of Decent Work and Sustainable Livelihood
The DST-NRF South African Research Chair Initiative (SARChI) in Creation of Decent Work and Sustainable Livelihood is affiliated with the Section of Organisational Psychology. The Chair focuses on five research streams: Changing Mindsets for Sustainable Livelihoods, Future of Work for Sustainable Livelihood, Living Wages, Programming and Evaluation for Sustainable Livelihoods, and Work, Family & Community.
