ETCP participates in the 17th WCTOH

As the first World Conference on Tobacco or Health hosted in Africa, members of the ETCP participated whole-heartedly in the proceedings by attending the conference and participating in multiple events. Our Knowledge Hub (represented by Laura Rossouw) ran a shared exhibition booth with the Knowledge Hub on Legal Challenges. Samantha Filby and Corne van Walbeek presented the preliminary findings of their analysis on the WHO’s tax and price measures to reduce the demand for tobacco, which forms part of a special edition on the evaluation of the FCTC, ten years after it came into being.
