NDoH Scientific Knowledge Sharing Workshop

Members of the ETC Project presented their research at a workshop organized by the South Africa National Department of Health. The aim of the meeting was to provide a platform for knowledge sharing on local evidence to support the implementation of the Tobacco Products Amendment Bill. The Minister of Health also attended a portion of the meeting and stressed the need for greater communication to “reach the hearts and minds of the population, the same as the tobacco industry does in making people scared about job losses.”
