Marketing Advisory Board

As a department, we have established a Marketing Advisory Board. The purpose of this advisory board is to provide our team with invaluable perspectives and expertise in the field of marketing.

Our board members are carefully chosen for their extensive experience and knowledge in their respective industries. They play a vital role in reviewing our curriculum, identifying areas for improvement, and suggesting new strategies to help us achieve our goals. The board usually serves a two- to three-year term, and its focus is specific to the department's needs at the time.

We are honoured to have such respected leaders in their fields on our advisory board. Their proven track record of success is a testament to their expertise and dedication. Our advisory board plays a crucial role in achieving our mission to provide our students with a comprehensive, practical education in marketing. With guidance from our board members, we continuously improve our curriculum and research to ensure our students are equipped with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in the evolving marketing landscape.

We extend our gratitude to our board members for their commitment to this endeavour.

Live briefs

As part of our curriculum, we engage with industry to offer students live marketing problems to solve. This classroom-industry collaboration not only gives our students exposure to the industry but also throws them in the deep end of real-world marketing. Our partners range in industries, and we are always looking for new ways to bring the real world of marketing into the classroom.

“Working with brands to solve marketing problems has been one of the most valuable aspects of this year. Presenting strategies and solutions to actual businesses allowed me to practice meeting the needs of a real audience, not just an academic one - a valuable skill I feel better prepared for. It has been extremely fulfilling to step into the shoes of a professional marketer. These moments were more than academic exercises - they were previews of the challenges and opportunities awaiting me in the industry.”
– Former Business Science Marketing 4th Year Student
