Upcoming launch of the Economics for Health Cigarette Tax Scorecard, 4th ed.
Join EconomicsforHealth.org for the launch of the 4th edition of the Cigarette Tax Scorecard on December 15, 2025, to learn about the latest findings and trends, as well as opportunities to improve cigarette tax policy in the future.
The Economics for Health team utilized the most recent data from the World Health Organization and other sources to evaluate how countries are performing relative to evidence-based best practices in tobacco taxation.
The presenters will share the latest findings on cigarette tax policies in 171 countries and discuss trends over time around the world. The webinar will highlight opportunities for governments to strengthen tax policies to improve population health, while raising much-needed tax revenue.
